It is my mission to get a NuStep in every gym.

Natalie Buchoz Huntington Beach, CA United States

Natalie Buchoz is an intelligent, vibrant and determined young woman. She also happens to use a wheelchair. Natalie was 15 years old when she was involved in a skiing accident that left her paralyzed. Doctors told her she would never walk again, but she wouldn't take no for an answer.

Through hard work with the team at Project Walk and training on the NuStep, Natalie is learning to walk again. The NuStep recumbent cross trainer and adaptive equipment make it possible for Natalie to move her arms and legs together, allowing her to gain strength, relieve pain and maintain her health.

Traditional gym equipment isn't built for people like Natalie, but the NuStep is different. Natalie envisions a future where every person is able to go into a fitness facility and feel comfortable and included, which is why she has made it her mission to get a NuStep into every gym.
