NuStep, Inc. Announces 2008 Pinnacle Award Recipients; University Living in Ann Arbor, MI and Adult Wellness Center in Rogers, Arkansas
Tenth annual award recognizes excellence within the six dimensions of wellness in senior housing and wellness centers
NuStep, Inc. announces the recipients of its tenth annual Pinnacle Awards to nationally recognize excellence in senior wellness programs. University Living, an assisted living community in Ann Arbor, MI receives the award for Senior Living. The Adult Wellness Center in Rogers, Arkansas receives the award in the Wellness Division.
Academy Award®-nominated actress Teri Garr presented the awards to June Smedley, fitness director of University Living, and Don Farmer, Fitness Coordinator of the Adult Wellness Center in Rogers, Arkansas at a special NuStep event that was held Tuesday evening, October 23 during the Annual Meeting and Exposition of the American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging in Orlando, Florida.
"There were numerous worthy candidates submitted for this year's Pinnacle Awards," said Steve Sarns, NuStep Vice President of Sales and Marketing, "but these honorees showed amazing creativity in their accomplishments in serving seniors and creating innovative wellness programs. We enjoyed celebrating with them in Orlando on October 23."
