NUSTEP AND ABC’S EXTREME MAKEOVER: HOME EDITION PROVIDE FITNESS FOR A HERO

NuStep, Inc., is making a young woman's at-home rehabilitation possible with the donation of a TRS 4000 recumbent cross trainer to ABC's hit television show Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. 

Kristina Ripatti, a Los Angeles police officer shot in the line of duty this summer, is paralyzed from the chest down and confined to a wheelchair. She and her husband, Tim, and daughter, Jordan lived in a small home that was not handicap accessible.  The Extreme Makeover: Home Edition team redesigned, and with scores of community volunteers, rebuilt the Ripatti's home to accommodate Kristina's special needs. The NuStep TRS 4000 is included in the home's new fitness and therapy room.
