NUSTEP ANNOUNCES CALL FOR NOMINATIONS FOR 2008 PINNACLE AWARD

NuStep, Inc announced it is seeking nominations for its tenth annual Pinnacle Award that recognizes excellence in senior wellness programs.  Entries are due by August 31, 2007.

The NuStep Pinnacle Award focuses on organizations that use creativity within the six dimensions of wellness and commit to transforming the lives of people and promoting optimal health and wellness regardless of age. One winner will be chosen in two categories: Wellness/Fitness Centers, any program catering to the senior population that is part of a health club or hospital-based wellness center, and Senior Housing Wellness Centers, any program that is part of an independent living community, assisted living community and/or nursing community or senior center. 

The winner in each category will receive a NuStep TRS 4000 Recumbent Cross Trainer, a NuStep Pinnacle Award trophy, national recognition for the center and team, Airfare and 2 night accommodation for one representative at the Athletic Business/International Council on Active Aging Conference in Orlando, FL  and acknowledgment at industry trade shows.  The Pinnacle Award will be presented at the Athletic Business/International Council on Active Aging conference November 29-December 1, 2007

2007 Pinnacle Award recipients include Mathers-More than a Café, located in Chicago, IL for top Wellness/Fitness Center and United Presbyterian Homes, located in Washington, IA for top Senior Housing Wellness Center.
