for Nominations for 2006
Pinnacle Award
Eighth annual award recognizes excellence
in fitness, wellness and senior housing centers
NuStep, Inc., creators of the NuStep TRS 4000 Recumbent Cross Trainer,
is seeking nominations for its eighth annual Pinnacle Award that
recognizes excellence in senior wellness programs. Entries are due
by September 12, 2005.
The NuStep Pinnacle Award focuses on organizations that create change
in the lives of the people they serve, regardless of their function
level, through creativity and ongoing commitment. One winner will be
chosen in two categories: Wellness/Fitness Centers, any program catering
to the senior population that is part of a health club or hospital-based
wellness center, and Senior Housing Wellness Centers, any program that
is part of an independent living community, assisted living community
and/or nursing community or senior center.
The winner in each category will receive a NuStep TRS 4000 Recumbent
Cross Trainer, a NuStep Pinnacle Award trophy, national recognition
for the center and team, and acknowledgment at industry trade shows.
The Pinnacle Award will be presented at the Athletic Business/International
Council on Active Aging conference December 1-3, 2005.
2005 Pinnacle Award recipients include Lowcountry Senior Center in
Charleston, S.C. for top Wellness/Fitness Center and Twin Towers Senior
Living Community, located in Cincinnati, OH, for top Senior Housing
Wellness Center.
