NuStep Employee Called
to National Guard Duty

Steve Haas, who works at NuStep’s manufacturing plant, was called to duty in the National Guard. Haas, who has been in the National Guard for 20 years, most recently as a tech sergeant, was expecting to retire. He was surprised when he was called to active duty with his Michigan Air National Guard unit, and asked to report Jan.3. To honor their very own American hero and to thank him for his service to our country, NuStep hosted a good-bye celebration. Joining him at the party was Debbie, his wife of 18 years, and their son, Adam, age 8. Steve and Debbie also have a 16 year old son named Jason. Before departing, Haas was feeling a sense of sadness about being absent from his family for a long period. The NuStep, Inc. management team says, "Steve, your job is waiting for you when you return."
