NuStep, LLC Announces 2018 Pinnacle Award Competition
Senior Organizations Transforming Lives with Whole-Person Wellness Invited to Apply
ANN ARBOR, MI – April 4, 2017 – NuStep, LLC is accepting applications for the company’s 2018 Pinnacle Award competition. The Pinnacle is an international award that recognizes senior organizations using whole-person wellness programming to support successful aging. The application deadline is July 1, 2017.
The award, which uses the seven dimensions of wellness model as the judging criteria, is presented to senior living communities and senior centers that best demonstrate a culture of whole-person wellness throughout their organizations.
Gold, Silver and Bronze winners are selected in two categories:
- Senior Living Community – any wellness program in an independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing or memory care setting (NOTE: applications must be from an individual community, not a corporate office applying on the behalf of multiple communities).
- Senior Centers – any wellness program catering to an older adult (50+) population offered at a senior center, parks and recreation center or adult day service.
Gold winners receive: a NuStep T5XR Recumbent Cross Trainer for their location; an onsite award presentation; national recognition for the organization; exposure in industry publications; and a professionally produced video. In addition, a representative from the winning organization will receive airfare and a two-night hotel stay to attend the 2017 International Council on Active Aging (ICAA) conference Oct. 12 – 14 in Orlando, FL.
About the NuStep Pinnacle Award
The NuStep, LLC established the Pinnacle Award in 1998 to recognize senior communities and senior centers transforming lives through whole-person wellness programming. Based on evidence that participation in whole-person wellness programs offers tangible benefits for older adults, NuStep’s Pinnacle Award also serves as a vehicle to educate and encourage more senior organizations to adopt and integrate whole-person wellness into their programming.
