NuStep® TRS 4000: Getting Set-Up

Getting ready to use the NuStep® TRS 4000 Recumbent Cross Trainer requires three simple steps:

1 - Adjust the seat 2 - Adjust arm lever 3 - Adjust the workload
  1. Seat: Adjust the seat to a position such that your extended leg is slightly bent with the foot pedal pushed fully forward. This position allows your legs to move smoothly through repeated stepping motions while minimizing the stress to your knees. The seat also swivels 90° in each direction for easy transfer.
  2. Arms: As a starting point, match the seat position number with the arm adjustment setting. Extend or retract the arm position as needed to achieve a comfortable upper body motion.
  3. Workload: The workload adjustment lever is located on the right side of the NuStep and the setting appears on the display. Choose a level that meets your fitness level and exercise goal.

Now you're ready to go!

For more detailed instructions on set up and exercise preparations, please refer to your NuStep TRS 4000 User's Manual.
