Consistency Is Key.

If you’re looking for the “silver bullet” to reach your weight loss or fitness goals, you will not find it! Because the truth is, there is no trick to losing weight or getting into shape. Every body is different and will require varying levels of activity and nutrition. The one thing we know to be true, is that getting into or staying in shape takes time, commitment, and discipline.

Consistency is key to creating change. But before you begin any weight loss or fitness journey, set some realistic, incremental goals for yourself. Start by making small changes to your daily routine including what fluids you drink, what you eat and your activity levels.

Motivation Might Get You On A Recumbent Cross Trainer, But Discipline Will Keep You On It

There are many times in our lives where we get a jolt of motivation or inspiration. Whether it’s an adverse health event that shocks us into a new mindset or the start of a new chapter in our lives, a life event can be a great motivator. But it is only a starting point. Commitment and discipline will help you achieve your goals. NuStep user Susan, shares her story and what she has gained from her dedication to daily exercise.

The Best Way To Use Your Recumbent Cross Trainer Is Consistently

The CDC recommends a minimum of 30 minutes of exercise, five days per week. Sounds reasonable, right? And with your goals in hand and a recumbent cross trainer at your side, you have the tools you need to get started.

Before you begin any workout routine, you will want to consult your physician. Once you have the green light, begin at your own pace and on the lowest resistance level. If you aren’t able to exercise a full 30 minutes at first, don’t be discouraged. As your conditioning improves, slowly increase the time and resistance, working towards 30 minutes each day.

Several studies have shown that the difference-maker in weight loss is consistency, whether its diet or exercise. Having a plan and sticking to it is what gets you the results you want.

By consistently using your NuStep cross trainer, you will reach your goals and develop a lifelong habit of wellness.
