Exercise Machines & Equipment for Commercial Use

NuStep proudly designs and manufactures commercial gym equipment for facilities where exercise machines need to perform all day, every day. Built with inclusivity in mind, our recumbent cross trainers, upper body ergometers and exercise bikes are designed for people of virtually all ages, fitness levels and functional abilities to get the workout they need to reach their rehab or fitness goals. Whether in a fitness center, senior living community, healthcare facility or YMCA, NuStep’s commercial exercise machines serve a wide range of users in high-traffic professional environments.

Our commercial exercise machines are used in physical therapy clinics, pulmonary and cardiac rehab programs, bariatric care centers and medical fitness facilities to support patients at every stage of recovery.
NuStep recumbent cross trainers, upper body ergometers and exercise bikes play an integral role in wellness programming at senior centers and across the full continuum of care at senior communities.
Our inclusive equipment helps fitness centers attract new members and drive retention by serving those who might otherwise feel excluded, including older adults, people transitioning from physical therapy and those with limited mobility.
Our inclusive fitness equipment helps YMCAs deliver on their mission to promote healthy living for all by supporting a wide range of members: from elite athletes to individuals transitioning from physical therapy.

NuStep was one of the first organizations to support ICAA’s vision.

Colleen Braun

The NuStep is probably the best piece of equipment I own. It’s also been awesome for membership sales.

The NuStep is invaluable. Without it, I wouldn’t have been able to help so many patients.

Why Commercial Facilities Choose NuStep

Long-term durability

Professional environments place demands on exercise machines that home use simply doesn’t. A recumbent cross trainer in a rehab clinic or senior living fitness center may see dozens of users per day, each with different physical needs and ability levels. All our commercial gym equipment is engineered for exactly that kind of use. NuStep’s line of cross trainers, exercise bikes and ergometers feature reinforced frames and heavy-duty components designed to hold up under continuous daily use.

Inclusive design

Accessibility and inclusivity are central to how we design every piece of our commercial fitness equipment. Step-through frames* and 360-degree swivel seats allow users to get on and off the exercise machines safely and independently, including those who have limited mobility. Adjustable resistance levels let each user start where they’re comfortable and progress at their own pace. This means the same piece of inclusive fitness equipment can serve a patient early in rehabilitation all the way to a high-performance athlete.

*T4r models do not have low step-through frames.

Low maintenance

For commercial facility operators, NuStep’s exercise machines are designed to be low maintenance and easy to manage. Durable construction means fewer service calls and less downtime. Intuitive controls allow users to begin exercising with minimal instruction, which frees up staff to focus on programming or patient care rather than getting individuals oriented to their gym equipment.

Confidence

Features like a secure seated position, low step-through height and stable base of support inspire confidence among users and help reduce the risk of falls while accessing the equipment and working out. These design choices help protect those using NuStep machines and the facilities that provide them.
